He works with people one-to-one and in groups, acting as a coach/mentor to develop and empower others professionally and personally.

He has given coaching to empower clients to develop and implement strategies and plans toward reaching their goals, and consulting on best practices in proven disciplines for effectively targeting and finding a job. He has provided assistance in confirming and adjusting career goals, aspirations, and direction for a wide range of clients. Mike has been most affirmed for individual coaching and mentoring, collaborative leadership, and empathetic listening.
Mike discovered along his 35-year career, that he especially likes – and is most effective at – working and collaborating with people. That evolved in managing, mentoring, coaching, encouraging, and developing individuals and teams in a variety of settings. That has taken shape in both his transition to, and how he approaches, coaching. He brings that level of energy and focus to his clients.
Mike is based in the Indianapolis area. He has worked with a range of clients from Indiana to Alabama, Illinois, Missouri, and Texas. He meets with clients face-to-face or virtually.
Mike Johnson leverages 35 years’ experience from a career in I/T, systems, sales, marketing, leadership, people management and mentoring. He brings a high level of energy, authenticity, and a sense of humor to his clients. Mike works with a range of clients, both individually and in group workshop settings. He has coaching experience with individuals and organizations ranging from universities, small business owners and associations to multinational corporations.
He is a certified practitioner for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator personality assessment and Strong Interest Inventory. Mike hosts a weekly career search accountability group, and regularly speaks with groups on career strategy.
